Computer-based exams in undergraduate engineering courses

Abstract: Computer‐based exams (CBEs) have been used in several engineering courses at the Ben‐Gurion University of the Negev over the past 3 years. In such exams, all the questions are solved through individual interactive work with a personal computer. Immediate feedback on errors is provided and the grading is done mostly by the computer. Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD.
