Comprehensive Evaluation of the Eco-Environmental Carrying Capacity of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Urban Agglomeration

Abstract: In order to study the eco-environmental carrying capacity of Beijing-TianjinHebei urban agglomeration, this paper constructed the evaluation indexes system of the urban eco-environmental carrying capacity of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei based on the DPSIR concept model, determined the weights of indexes by entropy method, evaluated the urban eco-environmental carrying capacity combined with TOPSIS method, and analyzed the urban eco-environmental carrying capacity of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei in 2012-2016 through horizont… Show more

“…The quality of water and air, as the most important elements that make up life on earth, can profoundly affect the size of the environmental carrying capacity. In the studies of , Zou and Ma (2021) and Li and Zhou (2019), industrial SO 2 emissions, industrial soot emissions and industrial wastewater emissions were used as indicators to measure pollution emission intensity. In the experiments of Wang et al (2019) and Li and Zhou (2019), PM2.5 and PM10 concentrations were added to measure the environmental carrying capacity, respectively.…”
