“…MRI can clearly depict muscle and soft tissue lesions, but it is not as good as CT for bone invasion and lymph node metastasis. CT revealed one or more heterogeneous and contrast-enhanced masses, with or without lobulation, lymphadenopathy, calcification [4,6,7,10,12,22,26,28,30] . CT of a CHE arising from the spleen showed a large protruding cystic mass in the spleen with multiple liver nodules and supraclavicular lymphadenopathy, which was reported by Yoda et al [7] In our case, CT displayed multiple lobulated lightly enhanced or unenhanced masses of the spleen with massive calcifications.…”

“…The lesion of our study was unique since it involved all of the scalp surface, eyelids, and face and the swelling of the eyelids resulted in complete closure of the eyelids on both sides, which impaired the patient’s vision; however, the patient’s eye examination was normal. It seems that the CHE is a lesion composed of a mixture of different patterns, which can vary from tumor to tumor [ 7 , 8 ]. In the CHE, each component has different characteristics, and the ratio and distribution of each component are diverse in each lesion.…”

“…Prevention of venous thromboembolism and pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE) needs anticoagulant therapy because of increased mortality [ 325 ]. Composite hemangioendothelioma (CHE) is an intermediate-grade vascular tumor which is a common vascular tumors exhibiting composite variants [ 326 ]. Cerebral microbleeds (CMBs) are associated with increased risk of stroke and poor cognition.…”
