An experimental investigation of the combustion characteristics of nanoaluminum (nAl), liquid water (H 2 O (l) ), and hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2 ) mixtures has been conducted. Linear and mass-burning rates as functions of pressure, equivalence ratio (Φ), and concentration of H 2 O 2 in H 2 O (l) oxidizing solution are reported. Steady-state burning rates were obtained at room temperature using a windowed pressure vessel over an initial pressure range of 0.24 to 12.4 MPa in argon, using average nAl particle di…
scite is a Brooklyn-based startup that helps researchers better discover and evaluate scientific articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by researchers from dozens of countries and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
