Combination of wool protein with acids in mixtures, and its relation to the acid dyeing of wool

Abstract: In order to extend previously reported analyses of the combination of acids with wool, measurements have been made over a wide range of concentrations, of the amounts of the anions of two a.cids combined by wool fibers when acios of different affinity for prot.ein are present in different proportions or in mixt.ures of their acid and salt forms .
