“…Increasing numbers of students report mental health conditions: in the United Kingdom, in 2014/15, 33,500 students disclosed a mental health condition to their university, and in 2019/20 this was 96,490 ( HESA, 2021 ). However, many students can find it difficult to disclose ( Woodhead et al, 2020 ), suggesting numbers could be significantly higher than recorded statistics indicate.
