Abstract: This article describes an effective model for a collaborative approach to designing integrated multimedia materials for language courses. Such a model is being successfully used at the University of Winnipeg in the creation of a first-year French course. The model involves collaboration between departments, colleagues and instructors with their students to design a collaborative, learner-centred, interactive, multimedia learning package.
