Coherent Technologies and Requirements in Next-Generation MSO Networks

Abstract: Cable MSO networks are undergoing a fundamental shift from centralized to distributed architectures, and from analog to digital optics. Interoperable coherent optics based on CableLabs specifications can serve as a key part of that transition.
