Cognitive Improvement Post-Placement of Left Ventricular Assist Device

Abstract: Mechanical assist devices have emerged as an established therapeutic option for patients with end-stage heart failure. Recognizing patients who will do poorly postimplant is essential to optimize patient management and outcomes.
