Coexistence of homologous-type carcinosarcoma of the cervix with undifferentiated carcinoma of the endometrium: A case report with Immunohistochemical analysis and literature review

Abstract: Highlights Cervical Carcinosarcoma is very rare and aggressive neoplasm. A cervical carcinosarcoma was diagnosed in a 60-year-old patient on cervical biopsies. Post-surgical study revealed a concomitant endometrial undifferentiated carcinoma. The adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy were used to avoid a disease recurrence. The patient died after two months from post-actinic enteritis with intestinal occlusion.
