Abstract: Diş hekimliği pratiğinde çürük temizleme, restoratif işlemler, pulpal veya periodontal işlemler, çekimler veya küçük cerrahi işlemlerde kullanılan lokal anestezi ile belirli bir bölgenin innervasyonunu sağlayan sinir dallarının anestezisi amaçlanır. Lokal anestezikler, sinir ağları boyunca hareket ederek buradaki sodyum akışını inhibe ederler.
