Abstract: The Early to Mid‐Holocene experienced marked climate change over the northern hemisphere mid‐latitudes in response to changing insolation and declining ice volume. Oxygen isotopes from lake sediments provide a valuable climate proxy, encoding information regarding temperature, hydroclimate and moisture source.
