“…Injury rates reported in players younger than 18 years range considerably owing to variance in injury definitions, ages, league rules, exposure, and methods of surveillance (range, 1.9–75 injuries/100 players). 3,5,6,18,19 Our rate of 30.02 injuries per 100 players per season is consistent with the findings of Brust et al 3 in a similar age group, using a similar injury definition, of 34.7 injuries per 100 players per season.
