Abstract: BACKGROUND: The last 20 years witnessed increased medical awareness regarding restless legs syndrome (Willis-Ekbom disease) among adults and children. However, it remains underdiagnosed and undertreated. Diagnosis relies exclusively on the history described by patients in their own words.
