Abstract:Cherubism is described as a rare and benign hereditary bone disease, characterized by a bilateral volumetric increase in the maxillary bones, with a greater predilection for males in childhood. Clinically, it presents as a volumetric enlargement of the mandible and, maxilla, which is generally painless, firm on palpation and varies in relation to size and extension.
