Abstract: . The high reactivity of NH 2 OH is ascribed to the coordination of the N atom. A similar coordination behavior of NH 3 OH + is improbable because the lone pair is coordinated to the proton. Hence, the formation of a coordinated complex is essential for the progress of the reaction.
