Chemically Modified Polymethyl Methacrylate in a Magnesium-Polymer Cell

Abstract: As a result of the electrophilic protonation of a carboxyl group of dielectric polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) with trifluoromethanesulfonic acid (CF3SO3H), a modified conducting polymer material was produced in the shape of a thin elastic lamina and a dense conductive gel, whose density was 1.26 g/cm3.
