Channel flow of MHD bingham fluid due to peristalsis with multiple chemical reactions: an application to blood flow through narrow arteries

Abstract: The present analysis emphasizes the effects of variable properties on Bingham fluid under MHD peristaltic transport. Due to the impact of mechanical forces on the applied magnetic field on the conducting fluid, the fluid stream gets altered. These principle targets drug transport and control of blood flow during surgeries; hence the impact of MHD flow with convective and porous boundary conditions is considered. Further, the implications of homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions are analyzed by considering wa… Show more

“…Ahmad et al 10 utilized the magnetic force influences for the Jeffrey nanofluid via accelerated surface. The magnetic force impact for the Bingham plastic fluid was analytically claimed by Vaidya et al 11 In 1995, firstly Choi introduced nanofluids containing nanoparticles. There are many applications of nanofluids in different fields such that fluid mechanics, mechanical engineering, and biomedical engineering.…”

“…The studies accounting for these properties have assisted in a better understanding of non-Newtonian fluids. Some vital researches regarding the use of the non-Newtonian fluids in modeling and evaluation of peristaltic circulation with variable fluid properties can be found in [10][11][12]. The current study is the first of its kind in modeling the electro-kinetically modulated peristaltic circulation of Jeffrey liquid with variable viscosity.…”

“…It is possible to find much considerable research on the use of non-Newtonian fluids in modeling and analyzing peristaltic circulation with varying fluid properties in the literature, namely. [42][43][44][45][46][47][48] Hayat et al 49 analyzed the peristaltic flow of third-order fluid through a circular cylinder. Later, Hayat et al 50 studied the impact of MHD on the peristaltic flow of third-order fluid through a channel.…”
