“…The Opole Province has become a kind of 'laboratory' for the study of migration processes, in particular emigration -outside (Heffner & Solga, 2016;Solga, 2017) and inside the country (rokita-Poskart, 2018;rokita-Poskart, Mach 2019). This is a region with an aging population, which will result in staff shortages (Heffner, Klemens & Solga, 2019). “…The research was carried out in the Opolskie Voivodeship (between December 2017 -May 2018), which is the smallest region of Poland (in terms of territory and population). It is located on the periphery of the country and its residents have had many years of migration experience (Heffner, Klemens, & Solga, 2019). One of the consequences of foreign economic migration of the region's inhabitants is a high percentage of older people living alone.…”

“…It is assumed that the current unfavorable demographic (Heffner, Klemens, and Solga, 2019) and economic situation allow young people to have a definitely broader selection of educational (students' market) and career (employees' market) opportunities. The mass education paradigm is gradually departed towards educating smaller groups of students but based on the high quality.…”
