“…It can be noticed that, both of the crystallization and melting behaviors of modified PETs are changed by the introduction of modifying monomers PENTA and PMDA compared with unmodified PET. The corresponding numerical values of temperatures and enthalpies of modified PETs are obviously reduced which is in agreement with that reported elsewhere . A somewhat lower of T c suggests that the crystallization of modified PETs becomes more difficult, i.e., the branched structures and entanglement networks of modified PET macromolecules caused by introducing modifying monomers prohibit the crystallization, making it possible at a lower temperature.…”
