“…Ocular dysmetria is an over-or undershoot of ocular movement when visual fixation is transferred from one point to another. Haring and Simmons (1973) indicate that the phenomenon may be observed during the calibration phase of the ENG examination, when the patient is required to fix his gaze alternately between two points equidistant from midline. They have published records of ocular dysmetria and have suggested that a minimum of 50 percent of the calibration fixations be off target before a label of ocular dysmetria is assigned.…”
