Case of chronic pain after laparoscopic percutaneous extraperitoneal closure in an adolescent girl with inguinal hernia in which open repair was effective

Abstract: Chronic pain after laparoscopic percutaneous extraperitoneal closure is very rare. Here, we report a case of chronic pain after laparoscopic percutaneous extraperitoneal closure in an adolescent patient with inguinal hernia who underwent open repair. A 15-year-old girl was diagnosed with a left indirect inguinal hernia, and laparoscopic percutaneous extraperitoneal closure was performed.
