“…This gains importance because the patient’s caregiver (partial or primary) fulfils an indispensable role on adherence; however, upon evaluating the items from the scale, comprising said factors, it is easy to note that there are items in which the caregiver cannot fulfil this role, like, for example, be able to watch for symptoms, feel confident if the doctor demonstrates knowing the disease or feel sure of the disease he has and stick to the treatment, given that these are very personal functions.
