Abstract:Syzygium cumini is a medicinal plant traditionally used to treat cardiometabolic disorders. This study proposed to evaluate the cardiopreventive effect of the hydroalcoholic extract from the S. cumini leaves (HESc) on ischemic injury isoproterenol (ISO)-induced in rats.
