Caracterização da pecuária leiteira no município de Tailândia, estado do Pará, Brasil

Abstract: RESUMO:O artigo caracteriza a produção leiteira no município de Tailândia, Nordeste Paraense, a partir de dados sobre o perfil socioeconômico do produtor, sistemas de produção, comercialização, associativismo, assistência técnica e crédito rural, obtidos em 49 propriedades leiteiras. A idade média dos produtores foi de 52,5 anos, com baixo nível de escolaridade e atuação na atividade há mais de dez anos.
