Abstract: Objective. To analyze the functional capacity and quality of life of elderly people after Ischemic stroke, comparing patients with dysphagia with those free from dysphagia. MétOdOs. This was a cross-sectional study of 60 elderly stroke patients, 30 of whom had dysphagia 30 of whom were free from dysphagia. The Mini-Mental test was used to assess subjects' cognitive status.
