Abstract: this disagreement we have looked at the answers of individual respondents rather than by hospital. Only one respondent stated that they gave anticoagulation prophylaxis to all patients empirically, using low dose warfarin at 1-2 mg/day. Different respondents routinely anticoagulated different patient groups (Table 1).
