Abstract: This involved 19 males (86%), the median age was 59 years (40-67 years). Pathological subtypes were 1 sarcomatous, 18 epithelial and 3 mixed mesotheliomas. EUS-FNA identified suspicious mediastinal lymph node in 9 patients (41%) and demonstrated malignant cells in 3 (14%). Cervical mediastinoscopy was subsequently performed in 17 (77%) patients.
