Abstract: Gill Bliss gained a PhD (September 2017) from Loughborough University with research based in Animation Studies. She has worked as an Associate Lecturer for many universities and is at present teaching animation theory at UCA, Farnham. Having worked for over 12 years in the stop-motion animation industry for companies including Aardman Animations, Gill is now concentrating on her own creative practice incorporating experimental animation, drawing and sculpture.
