Abstract:The authors investigated post-renal transplantation hypertension behaviour in 20 patients with primary malignant hypertension (PMH), in 42 patients with secondary malignant hypertension (SMH) and in 62 controls (without malignant hypertension). All cases of malignant hypertension required removal of primary kidneys, either before or after transplantation.
