Blinded by Experience: Prior Experience, Negative News and Belief Updating

Abstract: Traditional models of operations management involve dynamic decision-making assuming optimal (Bayesian) updating. However, behavioral theory suggests that individuals exhibit bias in their beliefs and decisions.
