“…Chlorella vulgaris (CCAP 211/11C) was obtained and maintained in the algal collection of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Environment (Di3A) (University of Catania, Catania, Italy). C. vulgaris was cultivated as detailed in Puglisi et al [22].
