Biodegradation of Phenanthrene in Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbon-Contaminated Wastewater Revealed by Coupling Cultivation-Dependent and -Independent Approaches

Abstract: The indigenous microorganisms responsible for degrading phenanthrene (PHE) in polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)-contaminated wastewater were identified by DNA-based stable isotope probing (DNA-SIP).
