“…The original model was used to simulate PAH biodegradation at a Texas Superfund site (Borden and Bedient, 1986). BIOPLUME II has been used to model biodegradation of aviation fuel at the U.S. Coast Guard Station at Traverse City, Michigan (Rifai et al, 1988), and to characterize benzene biodegradation over 3 years in another shallow aquifer (Chiang et al, 1989;Choi et al, 2009).
