Biochemical Oxygen Demand and Other Organic Pollution Measures

Abstract: Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) is the most important and widely used environmental index for monitoring organic pollutants in wastewater. The current international standard method is the five‐day BOD assay (BOD 5 ).
