Abstract: The next-generation of mesenchymal stromal cell (MSC) therapies aim to enhance efficacy via in vitro licensing. Various stimuli initiate immune regulation and the secretion of immunomodulatory molecules, such as anti-inflammatory mediators and antioxidants, prior to administration.
