Abstract:Background: Among all joint dislocations, dislocations of the shoulder are the most common. Although posterior shoulder dislocation is infrequent, it is more common following seizures. Trauma, electrocution, and seizures can cause bilateral shoulder dislocation. Anterior shoulder dislocations can be accompaniment by greater tuberosity (GT) fractures, Bankart fractures, and other complications such as rotator cuff tears and neuro-vascular injuries.
