Abstract: Günümüzde, sentetik lifler insanların yaşamında önemli rol oynamaktadır. Sentetik lifler ve bu liflerden oluşturulan tekstil yüzeyleri, geleneksel tekstil ürünlerinin yanı sıra, hava yastığı, kord bezi, filtreler, kompozit malzemeler, konveyör bantlar, optik malzemeler, ısı ve ses yalıtım malzemeleri gibi teknik tekstil endüstrisinde pek çok uygulamada kullanılmaktadır.
