Nevertheless, having in mind the serious consequences of prolonged BZD use in patients with schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, our data should be used as a starting point for careful consideration of BZD prescription in the region and for the implementation of strategies aiming to increase the knowledge about rational BZD use.…”
