Basolateral amygdala glutamatergic neurons maintain aversive emotional salience

Abstract: Basolateral amygdala (BLA) glutamatergic neurons serve a well-accepted role in fear conditioning and fear extinction. However, the specific learning processes related to their activity at different times during learning remain poorly understood.
