Abstract: Abstract This chapter adopts general virus dynamics models to describe the basic interactions between a growing tumor cell population and an oncolytic virus that replicates in these tumor cells. Model properties are explored, and the correlates of treatment success that are predicted by the model are discussed. For the virus to control or eradicate the tumor cell population, it needs to spread sufficiently fast.
