In a study of organizational changes within student services at a baccalaureate-granting community college, interviews with faculty and administrators, observations, and a document review were conducted. The college made deep changes in academic advising, academic support services, financial assistance, and student activities. These changes included the expansion of existing services, development of new initiatives, creation of new positions, increased faculty roles, the development of first-year experience course, developmental education initiatives, and new academic tutoring services. After the launch of the baccalaureate-granting degree programs, the average age of student declined, requiring a different approach to student services and activities. (76 ref)-
