Barreiras para atividade física em adolescentes: validade e reprodutibilidade de um instrumento

Abstract

ResumoO objetivo do presente estudo foi propor um instrumento para identificar as barreiras para a prática de atividade física em adolescentes de 10 a 14 anos. Trata-se de um estudo de cará-ter quantitativo observacional, com delineamento transversal, com uma amostra composta por 228 escolares do município de Uruguaiana/RS. O conteúdo do instrumento foi obtido através de questionário aberto visando identificar as barreiras percebidas por esta faixa etária (n=83). As respostas foram agrupadas de acordo com o determinante e a dimensão constituindo um questionário composto por 14 questões fechadas. Após testar a clareza do instrumento, foi realizado o processo de validação (Análise Fatorial Exploratória) e consistência interna (Coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach). Para isto, 129 escolares, não participantes das etapas anteriores, responderam ao questionário em teste e após uma semana em reteste (n=120) verificando-se a reprodutibilidade (Índice Kappa). As 14 questões foram distribuídas em 5 fatores, com variância total de 63,8%, tendo todos os itens que definiram os fatores carga maior que 0,4 e acima de 1,0. Os fatores um e dois apresentaram os maiores 2,34 e 2,20, respectivamente. Na análise de consistência interna, as correlações item-total variaram de 0,30 a 0,58 e o valor total de alfa foi de 0,78. A reprodutibilidade variou entre 0,27 e 0,61. Dez questões atenderam todos os critérios adotados para o estudo. O instrumento proposto apresenta validade e reprodutibilidade adequadas para identificação das barreiras para prática de atividade física em adolescentes de 10 a 14 anos.
