Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Microbacterium resistens and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia in Biocontrol of Corynespora cassiicola in Tomato Culture

Abstract: This article presents an approach on the use of biological control applying the action of bacteria against Corynespora cassiicola (Bert & Curt) Wei, as this is one of the main phytopathogen of aerial propagation that limits the productivity of solanaceous plants. The use of bacteria in the control of solanaceous diseases is a widespread methodology, since the biocontrol of phytopathogen carried out by bacteria can occur through different mechanisms such as inhibition by antibiotics, parasitism, competition… Show more
