Awareness of the origin of knowledge predicts child witnesses' recall of alleged sexual and physical abuse

Abstract: Children who understand that knowledge may have different origins produce more information in their free-recall accounts than children who are less aware of source. Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD.
