Abstract: Cushing's syndrome is a hormonal disorder that affects multiple systems of the body. It is caused by excessive cortisol production. Cortisol is the hormone produced by adrenal gland. Its secretions varies with circadian rhythm and its peak can be seen in the morning, however, during night it is produced in very low quantity.
