Fundoplication.abstRact -Background -Esophageal adenocarcinoma and dysplasia in patients with Barrett's esophagus are seen after surgical treatment of GERD (fundoplication). Esophageal pH monitoring shows no evidence of acidity, suggesting distal reflux to the conventional catheter positioning.
