Association of sex hormone dynamics with 10-year survival in men with implanted cardiac resynchronization therapy devices

Abstract: Aim. To assess association of different dynamics of sex hormones with 10-year survival in men with congestive heart failure (CHF) and implanted cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) devices.Methods. Based on tercile of testosterone at the end of the study (TESend), 157 men with CRT (mean age 58.7±9.7 years old; 95 men (60.5%) w/ ischemic CHF) were divided into 3 groups: gr.
