“…En algunos trabajos, se ha documentado el uso de otros exponentes diferentes a t 0,5 , para obtener un mejor ajuste (24). La desviación de t 0,5 es debida a la complejidad de la microestructura y a que la difusión de Fick empieza a predominar en las pastas con un alto porcentaje en cemento.…”

“…Some authors have documented the use of exponents other than 0.5 for t, to achieve a better fit (24). The deviation in t 0.5 is due to microstructural complexities and to the fact that diffusion in the pastes with a high cement content tends to be governed by Fick's law.…”

“…In several works the capillary process is used as indicative of the future degradation of buildings materials [2][3][4][5]. The capillary transport is the main driving mechanism for the chloride and the sulphate ions, and absorbed water by capillarity can be a problem as consequence of the freezing/thawing cycles.…”

“…The long-term durability of concrete is largely governed by the resistance of concrete to various physical and chemical processes of deterioration. The interactions between these processes of deterioration become increasingly necessary to be considered in the evaluation of durability. With the fast development of data processing, the digital simulation found an application increasingly extended by modeling various processes of deterioration [1][2][3].However, all these digital models are specific programs describing only the processes considered, which limits their application to a broad variety of applications. Moreover, the analysis of the mechanical stresses induced by the deterioration process did not become available, which makes it impossible to evaluate the influence of acceleration of cracks on the deterioration of concrete and to predict the lifespan of the concrete structure after cracking.…”
