“…Apesar da importância de se fazer avaliações nos serviços de saúde, buscando-se sempre alcançar uma melhor qualidade nos cuidado s com o paciente (Donabedian, 1978;OMS, 1981), avaliações voltadas aos cuidados com a saúde da criança ainda são pouco realizadas (McGlynn et al, 1995). Uma das dificuldades encontradas na realização desta pesquisa foi encontrar na literatura trabalhos com metodologias semelhantes para podermos comparar os resultados obtidos.…”

Exaggerated anticipatory anxiety is common in social anxiety disorder (SAD). Neuroimaging studies have revealed altered neural activity in response to social stimuli in SAD, but fewer studies have examined neural activity during anticipation of feared social stimuli in SAD. The current study examined the time course and magnitude of activity in threat processing brain regions during speech anticipation in socially anxious individuals and healthy controls (HC). Method Participants (SAD n = 58; HC n = 16) underwent functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) during which they completed a 90s control anticipation task and 90s speech anticipation task.

“…Therefore, quality monitoring is one of the primary health priorities to make comparable quality assessment results routinely available to a variety of audiences (providers, health plans, consumers, and purchasers) and to identify potential deficiencies in health care provision that can be corrected through quality improvement activities. 9 Regarding the outcome of chronic diseases on children, factor analysis revealed 2 factors (physical and psychosocial impact), which explained 41.5% of variance with moderate adequacy (Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin test of sampling adequacy ϭ .67). Such aggregation of factors in a meaningful manner is an indication of the construct validity of the items.…”

“…Despite expert and consumer agreement about the importance of adolescent preventive care for health care system accountability and performance reporting, there are few current measurement methods. 2,[16][17][18][19] This statement provides recommendations and criteria for assessment of the quality of adolescent care and the need for comprehensive efforts to improve the quality of primary care delivered to adolescents in the United States. Because much of adolescent morbidity and mortality is preventable, this statement focuses on quality issues that relate to staying healthy-preventive care themes.…”
